Choose the right company form
One of the first things you should consider is which company form is most appropriate for your new company. The most common company forms in Norway are:
-
Limited liability company (AS)
-
Sole proprietorship (ENK)
-
General partnership (ANS/DA)
-
Cooperatives (SA)
-
Public limited company (ASA)
-
Norwegian-registered foreign enterprise (NUF)
-
Foundation
-
Association
Limited liability companies and sole proprietorships, popularly known as sole proprietorships, are the most commonly used forms of company in Norway. All forms of company have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, a limited company is best for those with large expenses or growth ambitions.
Listen to experienced accountants
Whether you run an AS, ENK, NUF or ANS/DA, you should have a clear and long-term financial plan. With us, you'll find accountants with extensive experience in assisting both small and large businesses.
Although it may be easy to think that you don't need an accountant as a small, start-up company, it's always worthwhile to work with an accountant from the start. Together, we establish good routines from the start, so that you are always up to date with various deadlines and requirements from the authorities.
